Its been a while since we updated the site.

A lot has happened in the last year or so. We continue to do the Trinity Food Bank rides, and are now meeting at 6pm at the Bare Bulb Coffee Shop on Hwy 96 every Friday for our bible study. Group rides usually occur each Saturday at 9am from Harvest Church.

Come join us for our Easter Services at Harvest Church. We will be holding services on Saturday at 2pm,4pm, and 6pm, and on Easter Sunday at 9am, 10:30am, and 12 noon. There will be easter egg hunts following each service on Saturday for the children to enjoy.

Trinity, Christian Teens, and Bikers for Christ 2010

There is a new generation of Christian teenagers, engaging in Christ's work in the world. Today at our monthly Trinity Food Bank run, we were pleased to be joined by teen girls and boys from a local church, who chose to "step up" and live out a calling. How exciting it is to see youth actively participating in God's work by serving. We would certainly encourage any youth or adults to join us in this ministry.

Our Harvest Church community group decided that we would be dedicated to the Trinity Food Bank ministry. While many of us ride motorcycles, we do not require our group members to ride. If you would like to join us for this ministry, we meet at Harvest Church every 2nd Saturday of the month, at 8:45am. We then ride to the Trinity Food Bank, where we bag up grocery items, and load them into a truck. We then depart, and arrive at the residence of people who need this service.

Today we also traveled back to Harvest Church to meet with "Bikers for Christ". Where we discussed our plans for the future, and how we can continue to minister to others.

Tifton HD ride and BBQ

The Harley-Davidson dealership in Tifton invited us down for a get together where we enjoyed a fine BBQ with sausages and burgers. After test-riding (and for some of us purchasing) the new motorcycles that they had, we zipped back up the interstate to Warner Robins.

Judy takes the first ride on her new HD motorcycle.

Nooma, Lending a helping hand, and BBQ

This morning we arrived at the church at 9am to head out to bible study, and we were welcomed by Joe's newly painted bike.

We have been away from the Nooma series while we participated in the church-wide "Life's Healing Choices" study. Today we returned to our regularly scheduled program, and continued on with the Nooma "Store" lesson. We all get angry about things from time to time--some of us more often than others. For some of us, it feels like we're constantly on the brink of losing it, where it doesn't take much to get angry about anything. And this kind of anger can be seen everywhere we go--at work, in traffic, at the store, at home. But what is really at its root? Anger is often looked at as a bad thing, but are there things actually worth getting angry about? Maybe if we had a better understanding of our anger and where it comes from, we could learn how to channel it toward something constructive--something that's bigger than ourselves.

After our bible study we decided to go and help one of our Harvest folks in need with a fun day in the sun, a little yard work and a BBQ.

Carson Turner Benefit Ride

Four month old Carson Turner was born with a heart defect and has spent most of his life in the Atlanta hospital. Because of prayer, Carson was placed on the list for a much needed heart transplant. The Harvest Riders were invited to participate in a ride to raise funds for Carson's transplant, and to pray for him. With little more than a week's notice, over 200 motorcyclists from around Georgia gathered to raise over $2500 towards Carson's treatment.
